South African Delicious Milk-tart Recipe.

Pastry

2 cups flour, 125g Margarine, half cup sugar, 1 egg (medium), pinch of salt, 2 tsp baking powder.  Cream butter and sugar.  Add egg, flour, baking powder and salt.  Mix well.  Press mixture into 2 deep pie plates, bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown (180 degrees c)

Filling

4 cups milk, 2 & half tbl flour (heaped), 1 cup sugar, 1 tbl margarine, 2 & half tbl corn flour (heaped), 1 tsp vanilla extract, 2 eggs.

Boil milk & marj.  Mix rest of ingredients to smooth paste & ad to boiling milk.  Return to heat, (lower heat) stir until thick.  Pour into shell.  When set sprinkle with cinnamon.
